March Meal Plan

While it still feels like winter where we are, but I’m craving a change of seasons so bright flavors, berries, and greens are on my mind. This meal plan is designed to give you easy family meal ideas, plus homemade snack ideas to help round out what we serve to the kids.

Use all of the ideas here, pick and choose a couple to try, or come back to this post throughout the month when you find yourself without a dinner plan. Whatever your approach to meal planning, I’m here to help!

You can serve this soup chunky or pureed smooth, according to what your family might prefer. There's also a slow cooker option if that's more your speed! Try it as a dip for little kids if they're not into a full bowl.

This one-pot homemade Hamburger Helper is nutritious, delicious, and so easy to make. It's a 30-minute way to make quick work of dinner!

Baked Sheet Pan Nachos
These Baked Sheet Pan Nachos have a tender potato base and are topped with black beans, cheese, salsa and veggies. They're a total family dinner hit. (You can add some of the ingredients to some of the areas—leaving the spinach off, adding more salsa or spice—to customize for everyone at the table.)

Quick Rice Noodle Salad
This quick Rice Noodle Salad is a favorite family dinner when I don't feel like cooking—you just have to boil water and the rest is assembly only! It takes about 20 minutes and is so fresh and delish.

Crispy Salmon Nuggets
With a short ingredient list and cooking time, these Salmon Nuggets are ready in about 20 minutes and are crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. They are such a delicious meal to share with the kids.

With a short ingredient list, quick method that takes just about 20 minutes, and bright, fresh flavor, this creamy Lemon Ricotta Pasta is a favorite pasta dish to share with the kids. You can even add peas or spinach if you like!
