I’ve met and talked with so many amazing mamas (and dads) about feeding their toddlers. In addition to recipes, there were a few recurring themes that made me realize that in addition to answering individual questions, I should put my best advice together into one easy-to-use package. Today, I’m delighted to share that with you.
Feeding Toddlers 101 is a collection of my best advice. In it you’ll find 10 simple steps to help you understand and improve the mealtime situation in your house. I’ve tried very hard to make it an easy and quick read—with bold subheadings, a list of takeaways at the end of each chapter, and a broken out list of FAQs at the end. Here’s what’s inside:
Table of Contents
In My Kitchen
All About Serving Sizes
The Nutrients Your Toddler Needs
What’s Normal (and What’s Not)
What to do When Your Toddler Refuses to Eat
Think Through the Words You Use at the Table
Teach Toddler Table Manners
Handling Treats…and Snack Food
Help Your Toddler Try New Foods
Plus: Frequently Asked Questions
There are no recipes in this ebook (though there are plenty of meal ideas!) and it’s not specifically geared towards toddlers with sensory disorders or extreme feeding issues. It’s a basic guide to feeding toddlers that I believe will have useful information for most of you—because it’s the advice that I turn to for feeding my own family day after day. I hope it helps you to be able to relax more, to learn to interpret your toddler’s signs a little better, and to know that you are absolutely not alone in the challenges that you face.
