Favorite Toddler Smoothie (with Veggies!)

This yummy toddler smoothie method is simple to blend up and even easier to customize for breakfast or snack time.

– Milk (I prefer non-dairy) – Fruit – Veggie – Frozen banana – Optional add-ins Tip: I like to do half frozen and half fresh fruit to get a good thickness.

Add chosen ingredients to a blender. – Blend until very smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl and adding more liquid if needed.

Strawberry Beet

Strawberry Beet Smoothie: Use milk, avocado, strawberries, raw beets (or leftover cooked). and maple syrup.

Blueberry Cocoa

Blueberry Cocoa Smoothie: Use milk, banana, blueberries, spinach and cocoa powder. Tip: If you can freeze the spinach, the finished product will taste much less “green”.

Mango Coconut Sweet Potato

Mango Coconut Sweet Potato Smoothie: Use coconut milk, avocado, mango, and sweet potato (cooked and cooled).

Honey Peach

Honey Peach Smoothie: Use milk, banana, peaches, raw summer squash, and flaxseed. (Any kind of squash would work, even leftover puree, as long as it’s not seasoned or salted.)
