Fresh Pear Sauce

It stores really well in the fridge or freeze and is so delicious on its own or stirred into oatmeal or yogurt. Yum!

Ingredients:  To make this recipe, you just need pears. Okay, pears and some water (or apple juice), but that’s really it.

Roughly dice the pears, discarding the core and the stem. Add to a medium pot with the water. Cover and bring to a simmer. Remove the cover and cook for 25-30 minutes

Turn off the heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes. Puree with an immersion blender or add pears and liquid to a standard blender. Blend smooth.

Store in the fridge, up to one week, or serve warm. To freeze, portion into an ice cube tray. Freeze.
