Easy Gingerbread Cookies



A quick and fun holiday cookie  to share.

Step 1.

In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, and salt.

Step 2.

Add the maple syrup, molasses, milk, and softened butter to the bowl.

Step 3.

Use your hand to mix together to form a dough. Roll the dough 1/4-inch thick between two pieces of parchment or plastic wrap.

Step 5.

Cut out the dough with a cookie cutter and transfer to the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned around the edges.

Step 6.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Pipe on icing as desired.
