With just three ingredients and a super fast cooking method, these Air Fryer Apples are perfect for snack or topping for yogurt.
– Apples: I prefer to use cooking apples, such as Granny Smith, for this recipe, as they hold up a little better. – Coconut oil (or butter) – Maple syrup – Cinnamon
– Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F and coat the basket or tray with nonstick spray. – Dice the apples.
Add the apples, oil (or butter), maple syrup, and cinnamon to a bowl and toss the apples to coat well.
When heated, add the apples to the air fryer and cook for 8-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
They should be soft when poked with a fork and lightly browned around the edges. Serve warm on their own or with yogurt or ice cream, or let cool and serve as a snack.
Store for up to 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge. Serve warm or cold depending on what you prefer.
