This smoothie has just 3 ingredients and it can even be made ahead!
– Yogurt – Fresh or frozen strawberries – Fresh lemon juice, optional – Maple syrup or honey, optional, to taste
Add the yogurt and berries to the blender. Blend until very (very) smooth for about 30-60 seconds.
Taste and add a few drops of fresh lemon juice and a little sweetener as needed. The amount you add will depend on your fruit.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 3-5 days in the fridge, shaking well before serving.
Add 1 tablespoon hemp seeds for added heathy fats and protein. Add a handful of ice cubes to make this a thicker smoothie consistency.
1 cup trimmed fresh strawberries, 1 cup plain yogurt, ½ cup fresh or frozen raw cauliflower, ½ cup frozen mango, 1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds, and 2 tablespoons rolled oats.
This smoothie recipe can be served to babies and toddlers of all ages. Just omit the added sweetener if desired for your kiddo.
