With an easy method, full-fruit flavor, and endless variations, these Frozen Fruit Bars are refreshing and delicious for any age. They taste like Outshine Bars from the store, but for way less!
Add the ingredients to a blender. Blend until very smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. (The fruit may be easier to blend smooth with a little juice, so add it as needed.)
Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve cold.
(To make without a blender, add ingredients to a wide bowl and mash coarsely with a potato masher.)
Notes
Once fully frozen, keep in the freezer for up to 6 months. If you freeze in popsicle molds without a plastic cover, you can transfer to a freezer bag once fully frozen to keep them fresher.
Use fresh or thawed frozen fruit. Try a single fruit flavor or a mixture of favorites.
Taste the blended fruit and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup as needed. The flavor of fruit varies so tasting it is the best way to know its sweetness.
Fruit that works well for this recipe include mango, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelon (seedless), peaches, cantaloupe, and honeydew.
