Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on low for about 30 seconds. Increase the speed to high for 30-60 seconds or until very smooth.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge and use within 4 hours. (Shake before serving.)
Notes
You can store this smoothie for up to 24 hours in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Note: Storing blueberry smoothies works best if you use wild frozen blueberries, as they will not cause the mixture to thicken as it sits in an undesirable way like regular ones do.
Use half milk and half Greek yogurt to make this a little creamier.
Add a scoop of protein powder, if desired, if making this for yourself to make it a little more filling.
Taste the mixture after blending for sweetness. Sometimes a teaspoon or so of maple syrup makes all the difference in bringing the flavor of a smoothie from just okay to really yummy.
