Find the easiest Pizza Crescent Rolls to make as an easy toddler meal (or fun appetizer) in less than 20 minutes! Plus, you can add any toppings your kids prefer.

We love my Pizza Pinwheels and my Pizza Rolls, and my kids recently asked for pizza “croissants”…because they had pizza crescent rolls at a friend’s house. It was a fun ask because this is such an easy pizza recipe for kids that is endlessly customizable based on the toppings they want and what I happen to have on hand.

Why this Recipe Works
With just a few ingredients, you can shortcut the process of making a fun pizza meal by starting with refrigerated crescent roll dough to make pizza spirals. They are easy to assemble and bake up in less than 20 minutes.
(They are also great alongside my Pesto Meatballs or Ricotta Meatballs.)
Ingredients You Need
Here’s a look at the ingredients you need to have on hand to make Pizza Crescent Rolls so you know what to pick up from the store or have ready.

- Refrigerated crescent dough (or pizza dough): To make this super easy, I like to use crescent dough from the store, which comes with perforated triangles perfectly prepared for these pizza rolls. You can also use purchased or homemade Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough or Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. The main difference is how long it takes to prep the dough. They bake similarly.
- Pizza sauce: Jarred pizza sauce makes this recipe come together quickly. You can also use marinara sauce if you prefer.
- Mozzarella cheese: I like to use shredded mozzarella cheese in this recipe for the expected Italian flavor and cheesy texture.
- Parmesan cheese: A little Parmesan cheese adds more flavor to this recipe, so I like to sprinkle it on top of the rolls before baking.
- Toppings: Such as pepperoni, minced broccoli, cooked crumbled Italian sausage, or other favorite pizza toppings.

Pizza Crescent Roll FAQs
You can pop them into a toaster oven or air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 325 degrees F to reheat.
Sure, though I would precook them slightly so they are soft. You can also do the same with onions, cooked bacon, or any other simple pizza toppings your family enjoys.
Once you wrap the dough up into a crescent, you can pinch the sides a little.

How to Store
Once cooled, you can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Or, store in the freezer, once cooled, for up to 6 months.
Best Tips for Success
- Brush or spray with olive oil and add Italian seasoning or grated Parmesan cheese if you’d like.
- Try my Broccoli Cheese Pinwheels for a similar variation on this idea.
