A while bag, I posted a round up of my current favorite lunch boxes for little kids—and after a friend asked, I decided to put together a few recommendations for insulated bags. There's a mix here of bags you can put lunch boxes into and ones that are able to stay cool all on their own, so hopefully the products cover the bases. I know that most kids who take their lunch to daycare and preschool are able to use a fridge during the day, but if you are heading out and about, or you have an older child needing to take lunch to kindergarten, this might help!
Honest Lunch Boxes (top right): The company sent us one of these a month or two back and my daughter loves to carry it around as her "suitcase" with her baby doll tucked inside. Apart from that, we love this because it fits an Easy Lunchbox perfectly (with room for an ice pack) or it fits a Lunchbots Trio with a drink comfortably inside. It will probably seem a little large for a tiny toddler, but they are durable and come in super cute designs.
Pottery Barn Lunchbag (bottom right): I've heard that many moms swear by the vast selection of PB lunchboxes and I can see why. I love this one because of the drink holder and because of the personalization option. You could use a Lunchbots inside or a collection of other storage bags or containers.
Fit & Fresh (bottom left): This is another product sample we have been lucky enough to try out and you guys, it's awesome! It has a built-in ice pack on the underside lid, which is so convenient, and the two smaller containers have lids, making it possible to pack foods like yogurt or applesauce. You'd need to pack a drink separately, but otherwise, this is a great option if you consistently need to pack lunches with an ice pack.
Do you guys have a favorite? (And am I the only one who is currently feeling the urge to go out and buy new notebooks even though I plan to be nowhere near a school this fall?)
P.S. I have not been paid to share these opinions, just trying to be helpful!
