I love this as a quick toddler dinner, as an easy (and filling) mom lunch idea, and as a homemade lunch idea when we’re home. You can even serve with a side of warmed pizza sauce (or my Easy Marinara Sauce) for dipping.
Why this Recipe Works
You can add whichever pizza toppings your kids like to this easy pizza eggs recipe. It has pizza flavor and the ease of a method that is essentially just making a quick omelet.
We often have this Omelet Pizza on its own, but it’s also great paired with Roasted Frozen Broccoli or Steamed Cauliflower.
Ingredients You Need
Here’s a look at the ingredients you need to have on hand to make Omelet Pizza so you know what to pick up from the store or have ready.

- Eggs: I use large eggs in my recipes, so use that size for the correct volume. (Or use a different size with the awareness you may wind up with more or fewer servings.)
- Vegetables: Finely minced mushrooms, minced broccoli, or halved cherry tomatoes work well to add to these Pizza Eggs.
- Shredded mozzarella cheese: This is my preference for Omelet Pizza since it’s what I’d use in an easy homemade pizza. You can also use an Italian cheese blend if you prefer.
- Pepperoni (optional): You can add mini pepperoni or full-size, sliced, for more pizza flavor.
- Oregano, salt, pizza sauce: You can add some of each of these to increase the pizza flavor, too.

How to Make Omelet Pizza
Here’s a preview of how to make this Omelet Pizza so you know what to expect from the process. Scroll down to the end of this post for the full information, including the amounts and the timing.

Step 1. Add the eggs to a large bowl and whisk lightly to blend.

Step 2. Heat a pan with butter. Add the egg mixture to the pan and let set. Move the cooked eggs slightly to allow raw egg to flow underneath.

Step 3. Scatter the cheese, veggies, and meat, if using, on top of half of the eggs. Sprinkle with salt and oregano.

Step 4. Cover to fully cook the eggs, then remove cover and fold over the plain side of the eggs. Press down lightly. Serve.
Omelet Pizza FAQs
You can dice up the omelet into little squares so they can pick them up with their hands or with a fork.
You can dice up fresh fruit or serve applesauce, or go with sliced cucumbers or roasted broccoli.
Sprinkle oregano on top and put a small amount of pizza sauce inside the omelet.

How to Store
Store leftovers, once cooled, in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Warm on a heat-safe plate in the microwave for 15-30 seconds.
I like to store the omelet cut up into wedges so it is easy to reheat and serve.
Best Tips for Success
- Use any fresh veggies you like. Just slice thinly or mince before adding to the pan to ensure they cook through. You can also use frozen veggies in small pieces.
- Use dairy-free cheese or omit the cheese if desired.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving to adults if desired.
- Finish the meal with my Carrot Balls, Strawberry Popsicles, or No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake.

Omelet Pizza (Pizza Eggs)
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- ⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup thinly sliced vegetables (such as mushrooms, minced broccoli, or halved cherry tomatoes)
- ¼ cup pepperoni (optional)
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ cup pizza sauce (warmed for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Add the eggs and the milk to a large bowl and whisk lightly to blend.
- Warm a small nonstick skillet over low heat. Add butter and swirl to coat and melt.
- Add the egg mixture to the pan and let set for 30 seconds. Using a spatula, gently push the cooked eggs toward the center of the pan, tilting the pan as needed to allow the uncooked egg to flow underneath. Continue until the eggs are mostly cooked.
- Spread the pizza sauce, cheese, toppings, if using, on top of half of the eggs. Sprinkle with the oregano.
- Cover for 2 minutes to fully cook the eggs, then remove cover and fold over the plain side of the eggs. Press down lightly to make the omelet.
- (To make this look more like a pizza than an omelet, place the sauce, toppings, and cheese over the entire egg base and cover to melt the cheese and warm through.)
- Lift out onto a plate or cutting board. Let cool slightly, then slice into wedges and serve with pizza sauce, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers, once cooled, in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Warm on a heat-safe plate in the microwave for 15-30 seconds.

- Use dairy-free cheese or omit the cheese if desired.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving to adults if desired.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
