Welcome to YTF Community, a place to safely share in the challenges and joys of feeding our families. And make all of it easier!

With Mother’s Day coming up, I’ve been thinking a lot about how many of us moms need more support, more community, more care. But it can feel so hard to find—and challenging for the givers to know exactly what to do.
And so, this list is here to help.
These are stories of when moms in my online community felt seen and cared most. And simple things other moms do to offer support.
If you have a mom in your life who just had a baby, is enduring grief, is having a hard time, or otherwise just needs a little more care than usual, I hope these ideas help us all create more of that elusive village we all deserve to have.
(If you are a mom in it in any way, feel free to forward this to people in your life—even if it feels weird!)
- “My friend randomly mails me cards telling me what a good mom I am.” Steph (I love this reminder that words matter.)
- “Dropped flowers on my porch and texted me they were there.” (Yes, always flowers!)
- “When I was super sick, my sister came over and put fresh sheets on my bed. Heavenly!” Martha (So thoughtful.)
