Welcome to YTF Community, a place to safely share in the challenges and joys of feeding our families. And make all of it easier!

Two of my kids have May birthdays, including my oldest who inspired me to start this brand over a decade ago. Which means I’ve been thinking a lot about how my approach to feeding my kids has changed over the years—and about the things I know now that would have saved me so much stress in the earlier years.

People always ask me if I have “picky” eaters and truthfully, I have three unique kids with unique preferences at the table. Which is what I assume is true in most families—and among us adults—and is part of what makes feeding a family challenging.

And yet, I think we adults make a lot of (well intentioned) assumptions about feeding kids that simply aren’t true. I wish I had someone to tell me what I’m about to tell you.
