Welcome to YTF Community, a place to safely share in the challenges and joys of feeding our families. And make all of it easier!

It’s been a few months since I shared a look at some of our real meals, so I am so excited to share this one today. Since a lot of us are in the thick of busy weeks with end of school or the start of summer schedules, I thought it may help to see more of what a real family actually eats.

These are meals that I ate with my three kids and I snapped photos with my phone. I share these posts regularly because I want to make sure to share the real behind-the-scenes meals, in addition to the more polished images that you see on my website in my regular recipe posts.

(I do, of course, actually make those recipes too, but the images I make for work are a little more polished than how food looks when I’m just cooking for my family.)

My goal with dinner, as I mentioned last week in my post on meals that are easier than easy, is serving a mix of foods over an entire week. And having meals that are as low stress as possible for everyone involved.

Which means there are shortcuts here, nothing is “perfect”, but everyone in my house was well-fed and nourished.
